Vacation!
Last night was the first night of vacation (technically Chris’ second, but I had work Saturday morning). We both had a hankering for some pizza so we tried out Lefty’s Chicago Pizzeria in North Park because neither of us have had deep dish aside from Uno’s. Nommy stuff, but I think I prefer New York Style. Or maybe I have to go to Chicago to get a true opinion. But as far as San Diego pizza goes, I believe I like San Diego’s New York Pizza over San Diego’s Chicago pizza haha.
Chris also had a hankering for some live music so we drove to Bar Eleven on the other side of the 805. Saw a pretty chill punk band that was totally worth the $4 cover and then once we discovered it was 80’s night at Bar Pink we drove back to North Park for some dancing dancing!
We’re not in Hawaii yet but day one of vacation was fantastic :)
